Located at the lobby level of bai Hotel, Ume is a Japanese restaurant under the direction Chef Noboru Ozeki. The noted chef was hired by the hotel owner while Chef Ozeki was a sushi chef in Japan. The result is as a close as you can get to an authentic meal without leaving Cebu. Ume Japanese Cuisine’s menu has ramen, sushi rolls, ebi tempura, chicken karaage, rice toppings. Seasonal dishes like Nature’s Spring Roll, a shrimp tempura roll with crab stick, unagi sauce, and cheese, are also regularly offered. Open from 11am to 10pm.
